SIM Teacher Training Conference
The SIM Teacher training was a great success last week! 120 teachers and principals arrived for the conference Tuesday morning and enjoyed three days packed with lessons on phonics, geometry, health education, reading comprehension and much more. We also spent time learning about our new Code of Conduct and Child Protection Safety documents. Our Spiritual theme for the three days was Biblical Emotional Healing and this had a deep impact on many of the teachers who have lived through some very difficult times here in Liberia.
We hope, if finance allows, to run further training in April for Principals and school leaders. This training is run through the “Christian Education and Teacher Training project (number 95402:http://www.sim.org/index.php/project/95402 ) managed by Jenny Elphick
